Since 2000, Alicia has prepared herbal remedies based on ancestral recipes to support various auto immune issues, ptsd, and corporate burnout. Since 2010 as a Wellness Equity Advocate, she has shared knowledge within her community by working with nonprofits, corporations, individuals, and community groups.

Branded as Bijou Organics in 2015, and further developing MAAT Apothecary in 2016 to focus exclusively on Cannabis, CBD, and plant education, Alicia has navigated California’s transition from unlicensed to medical marijuana and now is an Equity Trade Certified, State Licensed manufacturer.

Frances Villafuerte- Mahoney Is a first generation Chilean-American, born of a refugee mother. She’s been a part of the cannabis industry since 2009. It all started at elemental wellness center in San Jose, where she met her future partner in life and love, Dustin Mahoney.
